ANNOUNCEMENT: Crossroads & Weigh Stations Available

Ballyhoo Stories Volume 2 No 1, "Crossroads & Weigh Stations," has arrived.

In "Goldene Medene" Amy Gustine tells the story of three Polish immigrants and a doctor at Ellis Island whose lives collide at the entry to the new world; in Irina Reyn's story, "Baba Yaga," an unmarried woman becomes a thing of Russian myth; a worker on the Golden Gate Bridge tries to take on work he is unprepared and unable to handle in Andrea Worth's "Swimming the Gate, 1935"; the narrator in Felicia Sullivan's "The First Abandon," recounts her failed marriage to the tourists trapped on her tour bus; in Cass Cross's "Tracks" a family conflict leads to a long journey, while the young narrator in Cathy Barber's "No Way to Go" refuses to go anywhere; a family rebels against a mother's big career move in "Absconed"; and another family comes together after years apart to discover a hidden secret in Ginnah Howard's "Amends."
